What the website stores on your device

When you save a property to your favourites (the heart), the website stores in your browser only the list of saved property codes, using the browser’s local storage (localStorage, entry “gentili:favorites”).

This information stays on your device, is not sent to us or to anyone else, and is only used so you can find your favourites again. It is a technical tool necessary for a service you requested (Art. 122 Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003), so no consent is required. You can delete it by removing the hearts or clearing your browser data.

Content loaded from other websites

To show some content, your browser downloads it directly from external servers, which therefore receive your IP address as with any web page. We have checked that no cookies are set for this content.

  • Maps: OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org), run by the OpenStreetMap Foundation. Privacy policy: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy
  • Listing photos and floor plans: the server of our property management software, hosted by Cloudflare (gestionale-gentili.workers.dev). Privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

Some listings have a video. The YouTube player (in no-cookie mode, youtube-nocookie.com) or the Vimeo player (with the “do not track” option) only loads when you press “Watch the video”: until then nothing is downloaded from these services. After the click, the rules of Google (policies.google.com/privacy) or Vimeo (vimeo.com/privacy) apply, and they may store data in your browser. Virtual tours open on the provider’s website in a new tab.

Links to social networks and WhatsApp

The social network icons and the WhatsApp button are plain links: they load nothing until you click them. Once on the external service, its own cookie rules apply.

Managing cookies and data in your browser
